Dean Fleming has placed leading NSW nursery Tyreel Stud on the market.
Tyreel is based at the foot of the Blue Mountains on the banks of the Nepean River and it has topped the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale on many occasions.
Originally established by the late Jim Fleming in 1986, Tyreel is set on 104 acres and comprises a magnificent homestead (circa 1880) as well as staff quarters three barns, horse walker, covered round yard, vet room , hay shed, feed room, work shop etc.
A feature of the stud is the abundant water that is available, with 163 Mega litre water license from the Nepean River, making Tyreel virtually drought-proof. The entire farm is fully irrigated.
Feature winners bred at Tyreel include Bint Marscay, Rocket Man, Filante, Mr Vitality, Hidden Dragon, Stella Cadente, Republic Lass, Risky Business and Rose O’War.
Leading Victorian stud Eliza Park was owned by Dean’s brother Lee Fleming before going into receivership last year.
