Multiple Australian champion sire Redoute’s Choice heads the 10-strong Arrowfield Stud roster for a $110,000 (inc gst) fee in 2015.
Redoute’s Choice (Danehill) sired his 65th seven-figure yearling at the Inglis Easter Sale last week on the back of another four Group 1 winners this season.
Arrowfield introduces champion sprinter-miler Olympic Glory who is currently standing his first season at Haras de Bouquetot in France. The Irish bred son of Choisir has a genetic and performance profile that is already proven in Australia.
Snitzel has risen to a new level of excellence with a series of outstanding racetrack and sale milestones this season, including new Group 1 winners Sweet Idea and Wandjina. He was also represented by the Inglis Easter sale-toppers, purchased for $2.2 million and $1.8 million.
Not A Single Doubt ended last season as Australia’s leading sire of individual 2YO winners and his 23rd stakes winner arrived last Saturday when The Grey Flash was successful in the G3 SA Sires’ Produce Stakes.
“We are delighted the past year has produced some superlative racing and sales results for our stallions,” Arrowfield Chairman John Messara said. “We have set our service fees to reflect both their achievements and their genuine commercial appeal in the marketplace.
“However, we are also very mindful of the pressures and risks experienced by breeders and so I trust our fees will afford every opportunity to breed profitably. In particular, I believe our new addition Olympic Glory is very competitively priced for a horse of his calibre.”
