Team Williams reduction at Oaklands Junction

Team Williams has catalogued over 50 horses for the Inglis Racehorse Sale at Oaklands Junction on Friday, March 2.

The sale will be held a day following the Inglis Melbourne Premier yearling sale and the Team Williams lots will be offered as part of a 100 horse select sale.

“The Williams family are renowned for buying good types,” Victorian manager Peter Heagney said.  “It’s going to be a wonderful opportunity for buyers to acquire ready made racehorses.”

Catalogues will be distributed from February 3.

The Williams family held two reduction sales at the Gold Coast Magic Millions in 2011.  Stakes performer Irel (Istadaad) topped its January Sale at $170,000 when sold to Eric Musgrove for a hurdling career.

Musgrove was also on hand when Lloyd and Nick Williams catalogued another 24 lots during the Magic Millions National Sale in June.  He topped that leader board after purchasing Resetable (Zabeel) for $160,000 and Weighted (Encosta de Lago) for $125,000.
