The 2013 Tasmanian Magic Millions catalogue is now available online. The Sale will be conducted on Thursday, February 14 at Launceston’s Inveresk Showground.
The 136 strong catalogue will follow the $50,000 Shaw Magic Millions 2YO Classic (1200m) and $50,000 TasBreeders Magic Millions 3YO Classic (1200m) on Wednesday evening, February 13.
Graduates such as Lake Sententia, Lady Lynette, Methuselah, Triple Assist, Prince Obama, Arenzano, Los Skybo, Banca Mo, The Cleaner, Barysh Quest have performed extremely well over the past 12 months.
The 2013 addition of Tasmanian Magic Millions yearling sale has brought together yearlings by some of best up-and-coming sires in Australia like Bushranger (Ire), Written Tycoon, Any Given Saturday (USA), Holy Roman Emperor (Ire) along with Tasmanian based stallions West Quest (Can), Tough Speed (Ire), Ladoni (GB), Incumbent and Savoire Vivre (GB).
“Tasmanian breeders have increased the standard of bloodstock being bred in the State and that’s reflected in the catalogue put to together for the 2013 sale,” TasBreeders consultant Nicholas Hay said. “And they have been raised on some of cleanest and freshest environments in the world.”
Grenville Stud at Whitemore has the largest draft with 32 yearlings followed by Armidale Stud (29), Aceland Stud (13), Brooklyn Park (10) and Alva Stud (10).
Grenville sires Incumbent (19) and West Quest (18) have the most yearlings catalogued while former Armidale Stud sire Savoire Vivre (GB) is represented by 16 lots. First-season sires All American, O’Lonhro, Dreamscape, Bushranger also have yearlings catalogued.
Horses will be available for inspection from February 11 at the Invesesk Showground in Launceston. The online catalogue can be viewed at:
