TasBonus And TasVOBIS Schemes on offer at Magic Millions Sale

The TasBonus and TasVOBIS Schemes are available for buyers at the Tasmanian Magic Millions Sale to be held on February 14.

Since Tasracing introduced the Scheme last year, TasBonus has received 300 nominations for the 2012-13 racing season.  Over the past six months, numerous owners have benefited with 2YO Grand Tycoon a stand-out having already earned $24,000 in bonuses.

To participate in the TasBonus scheme buyers of yearlings from the 2013 Tasmanian Magic Millions Sale must pay a $300 owner nomination fee before June 30.

In addition, Tasracing will again offer the TasVOBIS scheme for mainland or local buyers of Tasmanian sired horses that are intending to race their purchases in Victoria.  The TasVOBIS scheme is available to Tasmanian sired horses only and will operate under the same bonus structure as the Victorian scheme (VOBIS Gold not included) with bonuses being paid by Tasracing.

Victorian sired horses need to be nominated and paid for through Racing Victoria to be eligible for SuperVOBIS bonuses on Victorian races.

Additionally, Tasmania’s two largest vendors Armidale and Grenville Studs will pay the TasVOBIS nomination fees for any Tasmanian sired horse purchased for $20,000 or more where purchasers are intending to race in Victoria.

Buyers of yearlings from the 2013 Tasmanian Magic Millions wishing to participate in TasVOBIS are required to pay the $660 TasVOBIS nomination fee to Tasracing prior to March 1.

Further information is available from Tasracing on 03 6212 9333 or Racing Manager David Manshanden who will be available for information at the Magic Millions Sale.
