Stallions relocated from Carin Park

Victorian nursery Carin Park will not be standing stallions this year.  The Hamilton based property was home to Solo Flyer (Belong to Me), Rebel Raider (Reset), Danesis (Danehill) and Curata Storm (Dieu D’Or).

Carin Park’s Bruce Cumming said Solo Flyer is back with his Bangaloe Stud owner Julie Ritchie in NSW.  He won the G2 Ajax Stakes at Rosehill and G3 Newcastle Newmarket in 2009 before retiring to stud last year.

Rebel Raider completed the G1 Victorian Derby – G1 SAJC Derby double in 2008-09.  He also covered his first book at Carin Park in 2011 and will transfer to Wyndholm Park at Ballarat.

Danesis is a half-brother to leading sire Dehere and won five races up to 1650m in Hong Kong.  He will move to a stud on the Mornington peninsula for his first season this year.

Curata Storm stood at Carin Park by arrangement with Bert Hatton who raced him to a G1 triumph in the Mercedes Classic at Rosehill.  Hatton is looking to place Curata Storm for the 2012 season and interested studmasters can contact him on (02) 4651 1500.
