Sister to Shez Sinsational at NZB National Sale

A sister to G2 Hollindale Stakes winner Shez Sinsational (NZ) has been catalogued for Tuesday’s Horses-in-Training session at the NZ Bloodstock’s National Sale.

Shez Sinsational (4m Ekraar – Original Sin by Shinko King) has had a brilliant season with G1 wins in the New Zealand Stakes and G1 Auckland Cup before Saturday’s Group 2 victory in Brisbane.

The Allan Sharrock trained mare travelled to Australia last season for placings behind Karaka graduates Shootoff (Duelled) in the G1 Queensland Derby and Scarlett Lady (Savabeel) in the G1 Queensland Oaks.

Sharrock will now set the mare for the G1 Doomben Cup and G2 O’Shea Stakes.  Connections are already looking towards the spring with the G1 Melbourne Cup on the agenda.  She has proven that she can run out the demanding 3200 metres with a brilliant win in the Auckland Cup earlier this season.

Bred by the Karaka Group, Shez Sinsational’s impressive record now stands at 9 wins in 21 starts for over $1 million in stakes.  At Tuesday’s HIT session, Curraghmore Stud will offer Repenting as Lot 371.  She a sister to Shez Sinsational.

The Horses-in-Training session will follow immediately after the Weanling session and will offer 25 horses including female siblings to Group winners Postmans Daughter (Postponed), Desert Clearance (Desert Prince) and Beautiful Girl (Black Minnaloushe) and stakes winner Lesley Brook (No Excuse Needed).

A three-quarter brother to the Group 1 winner Shootout will also be on offer at Lot 354.
