Rich QTIS result for Not A Single Doubt

Doubtfilly launched Not A Single Doubt into the Top 10 on the Australian juvenile sires’ premiership after landing the $250,000 QTIS 600 2YO Plate at the Gold Coast on Saturday.

Doubtfilly (2f Not A Single Doubt – Aussie Enchantee by Alhaarth) relished the wet conditions to score a runaway five length victory in the race conducted in conjunction with the Magic Millions QTIS Sale this weekend.

Not A Single Doubt joins his own sire Redoute’s Choice and fellow Arrowfield associate Snitzel in the top bracket of two year-old stallions this season.  He has sired five winners plus another two stakes-placed youngsters for earnings of $503,818.

Doubtfilly is trained by Mackay based Stuart Kendrick and she was a $17,500 buy at the 2011 Gold Coast Magic Millions.  “I was starting to stress when the rain continued to fall and the track was downgraded to a Heavy 8,” Kendrick admitted.  “But Dan (Griffin) knows the Gold Coast like the back of his hand and I left it to him to find the best part of the track.’’

Kendrick will assess future plans with connections before deciding whether Doubtfilly will stay in work for another QTIS race at Toowoomba later this month.  The alternative is to tip her out in time for another campaign aimed at races like the G2 BTC Sires’ Produce Stakes at the winter carnival.

Arrowfield stallion Not A Single Doubt sired her from a winning daughter of G2 Longchamp Prix de l’Opera winner Andromaque.

Not A Single Doubt has four yearlings entered for the QTIS Sale this weekend and another five catalogued for the 2012 Inglis Easter yearling sale.
