Raheeb relocates to Wattle Brae Stud

Group 3 winning sprinter Raheeb will join the Wattle Brae Stud roster this year.  A son of Royal Academy, has been based at Patinack Farm’s NSW and Queensland properties for the last three years.

Raheeb (9h Royal Academy-Gatana by Marauding) won the G3 Cameron Hcp at Newcastle and LR Paris Lane Stakes at Flemington in a 22 start career with trainers Anthony Cummings, Jason Coyle and Mick Price.

A $90,000 purchase from the 2005 Gold Coast Magic Millions, Raheeb is a brother to the dam of Coolmore Stud champion Fastnet Rock.  He has covered 248 mares in three seasons at an $8,800 fee.

Raheeb is the latest stallion to leave Patinack Farm.  Roster leaders Husson and Casino Prince moved to Vinery where Casino Prince’s champion son All Too Hard is set to stand his first season at a $66,000 fee.  G1 Caulfield Guineas winner Wonderful World is on the market while Teranaba has moved to Somme Lodge in Queensland.

Wattle Brae will stand Raheeb for a $7,700 (inc gst) fee this year.  Its roster comprises Court Command (Commands), Walking Or Dancing (Falvelon), Easy Rocking (Barathea) and Exceedingly Good (Exceed And Excel).
