Keeper Quiet has propelled Yarradale Stud sire Scandal Keeper to the top of the Western Australian 2YO sires’ premiership.
The Lark Hill filly has been beaten narrowly in the $500,000 Karrakatta Plate and $200,000 WA Sires’ Produce Stakes at her last two starts but the minor money has been more than valuable.
Keeper Quiet (2f Scandal Keeper – Rosie’s Bungalow by Serheed) is raced on lease from Yarradale by Daniel Pearce. The Lark Hill trainer is confident the filly will be even better next season and she’s bred to improve as a three year-old being a half-sister to Goldfields Tattersalls Cup winner Defy Me (Heritage).
Their dam Rosie’s Bungalow has since foaled a De Troy filly and a Musket colt. She was bred back to War Chant last year.
Scandal Keeper (Danzig) is on top of the Sunspeed 2YO table with progeny earnings of $228,400, well ahead of Danehill Express ($145K) and Eternity Range ($126K).
