Positive start by Dream Ahead

Emirates Park shuttler Dream Ahead (USA) will arrive in Australia next month after covering and outstanding book of mares in Ireland.

Ballylinch Stud reports that no fewer than 124 of the 130-plus mares covered by Dream Ahead over the past five months have been returned positives resulting in a fertility figure of over 90%.

Most notable of the mares covered by Dream Ahead in his debut Irish breeding season were Side of Paradise (dam of G1 winner Immortal Verse) and Sorpresa (dam of triple G1 winner Sahpresa).

Love and Laughter (Theatrical) is another proven producer of Group 1 winning stock covered by Dream Ahead.  She is dam of 2011 Canadian Northern Dancer Stakes winner Wigmore Hall.

Another Group 1 producer served by Dream Ahead in Ireland in the past few months is Magic Sister.  A daughter of Dream Ahead’s maternal grandsire Cadeaux Genereux, she is the dam of the 2006 Falmouth Stakes winner Rajeem.

Dream Ahead (Diktat) won five Group 1 races, the Prix Morny and Middle Park Stakes as a two-year-old, and the July Cup, Haydock Park Sprint Cup and Prix De La Forêt at three.

He will stand for a $27,500 (inc gst) fee for his first southern season at Emirates Park.
