The broodmare section includes stakes placed mares Amore Venus, Broccoletta and Moet Magic and among the covering sires are Balestrini, Passenger, Reward for Effort, Rogano and Universal Ruler.

Also set to go under the hammer as Lot 117 is popular local stallion Patronize – a three quarter brother to Australia’s champion-elect sire Exceed and Excel.

Patronize (Redoute’s Choice) is the sire of city winners Jestpatim, Silver Speck, Closing Time and Miki Two Shoes.  From just 16 runners to date he is the sire of 6 winners, 4 of them in Perth and 7 other placegetters.
