Perth G2 winner supplemented into Easter Broodmare Sale

Night War and Jersey Lily are the latest stakes winners to be supplemented into the Super Select Session of the  Inglis Easter Broodmare Sale in Sydney from April 17 to 19.

Night War’s part-owner Peter Bell has confirmed the G2 winning half-sister to Samaready will be offered on the opening day of the Sale.  The three-year-old daughter of General Nediym will be sold through Willow Park Stud.  Their draft also includes Brisbane stakes winner Zero Rock and Darci Be Good’s dam You Can’t Say That who is in foal to Redoute’s Choice.

“Night War proved herself the best juvenile in the west when winning the Karrakatta Plate last year,” Willow Park’s Glenn Burrows said.  “Her half-sister Samaready is a Group 1 winning two-year-old and hot favourite for the Golden Slipper so it certainly is a privilege to be able to offer such an exciting prospect under our banner.”

Jersey Lily (Catbird) is a dual Listed winner and Group 1 placegetter.  She will be offered by Goodwood Farm.

The supplementary catalogue of Super Select fillies and mares will be offered after Lot 223 on Tuesday, April 17.  Supplementary entries for the Super Select Session will remain open until Monday, April 2.
