Pentire fee reduced at Rich Hill Stud

Rich Hill Stud’s service fees for 2013 will remain unchanged apart from Group 1 stallion Pentire who has been reduced to $22,500 (plus gst).

PENTIRE (Be My Guest) looks set to have a decent Queensland winter carnival with the likes of Rangirangdoo, Say No More and the three-year-olds Ferlax and Prince Of Penzance, among others, representing him.  “It’s certainly not easy for breeders at the moment so we’ve recognised that with Pentire,” Rich Hill’s John Thompson said.  “We think he represents great value at $22,500.”

SHOCKING (Street Cry) stands at $12,000 (plus gst).  He has an impressive line of foals on the ground; all stamped with his balanced and physical presence.  Thompson said Shocking will have his first yearlings at Karaka next year and there are a few really nice weanlings in the upcoming May sale.

JIMMY CHOUX (Thorn Park) is unchanged at $10,000 (plus gst).  A Group 1 performer as a two, three and four year-old, he offers unparalleled value and is set to serve another fantastic book of mares.

ANY SUGGESTION (Lion Hunter) stands at $7500 (plus gst).  New Zealand’s Champion first-season sire consistently throws impressive physical types with good temperaments.  He has sired t13 individual three year old winners this season and is set to have a huge spring with the likes of Group 1 candidate Fantastic Honour.
