Redoute’s Choice stallion Patronize topped the Perth Magic Millions Winter Sale at $60,000 on Sunday.
Patronize is a three-quarter brother to Exceed And Excel and was sold to dissolve a partnership that included Clive Atwell of Darling View Stud, Terry Congdon and Graham Hart.
Premier Bloodstock’s Grant Burns bought the 10 year-old who will continue standing at Darling View. Burns was acting on behalf of a syndicate that plans to give him more opportunities at Atwell’s Mundijong property.
Trainer Neville Parnham sold the top two fillies on the leader-board. Three year-olds Selecting (Choisir) made $28,000 and Futurism (Lonhro) $17,000.
Magic Millions catalogued 131 lots but that was reduced when Touchstone Farm withdrew 19 of its 25 lots.
