Partelle on par for Magic Millions double

Torio’s Quest scored a thrilling win in the Magic Millions Wyong 3YO Stakes on Sunday in the lead-up to the $1 million Magic Millions 3YO Guineas next month.

Torio’s Quest (3g Oratorio – Quest for Pleasure by Quest for Fame) is trained by Brett Partelle for his major client Bert Vieira.  He purchased the Wyong winner for $15,000 at the 2009 Adelaide Magic Millions.

Partelle also trains Walking or Dancing (Falvelon) who was a feature winner of the Magic Millions Cup at the Gold Coast in January.  “I’m over the moon, I can’t put it into better words than that,” Partelle said.  “Not many trainers win two Magic Millions races in one year!”

Partelle was also happy to learn Graceful Anna completed the Wyong Stakes – Magic Millions Guineas last season.  This year’s winner is by Coolmore’s Irish bred shuttler Oratorio and his dam is an unraced daughter of G1 VRC Oaks winner Sandy’s Pleasure (Dash o’ Pleasure).

His dam Quest for Pleasure has also thrown minor winners by Nuclear Freeze and Half Hennessy.  She has a yearling filly by Dubawi.
