One Cool Cat colt tops Day 2 of Italian yearling sale

Trade fell away during the second session of the Italian yearling sale in Milan on Saturday.

Darley sire Dubawi highlighted trade on Friday with a 210,000 euros colt purchased by agent Anthony Stroud.  That left domestic buyers to pick over the non-select catalogue on Saturday.

Scuderia Lisetta paid top price of 31,000 euros for a One Cool Cat colt from Irish bred stakes winner Royal Rhapsody (Ali-Royal). The dam was a Listed winner of the Premio Alberto Giubilo and she has already thrown winners by Spinning World and Lomitas.

Next best at 25,000 euros was an Ishiguru filly from Acclamation mare Broken Applause.  The dam won a Haydock maiden and was G3 placed at Ayr.  Her filly was purchased by Antonio Marcialis.
