Natural Destiny now a New Zealander

Former Queensland-based stallion Natural Destiny sired his latest winner when odds-on favourite Eliazar cruised home at Ipswich on Friday.

Eliazar (4g Natural Destiny – Arwen by Mujahid) was coming off a Doomben placing to score a three length victory in the Clarks Industrial Maiden Plate (1010m).

Natural Destiny stood at Willowbend Stud before relocating to Phuttocks End Stud in New Zealand.  A son of Naturalism, he won 7 of his first 9 starts in Brisbane and Sydney and retired after a clean-sweep of the 2006-07 Doomben Triple Crown.

NZ based trainer Bruce Tapper is a friend of Natural Destiny’s trainer Gordon Yorke and he bought the grey stallion earlier this year before shipping him across the Tasman.

Natural Destiny stands for a $3,000 service fee at Phuttocks End Stud.  Located 20km from Invercargill in New Zealand’s South Island, it was also home to Sydney juvenile stakes winner Justice Prevails (Proud Knight).
