More black-type in Singapore

Excellent One added more black-type for Onemorenomore on Sunday when he was runner-up to boom colt Super One in the G3 Juvenile Championship (1200m) in Singapore.

A Kranji winner on debut, he did best of the rest when running on late for second – albeit five lengths off the winner who will be set for the G1 Coolmore Stud Stakes at Flemington in October.

If Super One does head off on an Australian excursion, it would clear the decks for Excellent One and fellow Onemorenomore expat Genius to battle out the three year-old feature races in Singapore.

Genius was runner-up to Super One in the G2 Aushorse Golden Horseshoe at Kranji in May.

Onemorenomore went into the final week of the Australian season with front-running winners Bentles (Ipswich) and He a Beauty (Toowoomba).  That increased his current season stats to 35 winners of 52 races and $1.28 million in prizemoney.

Vinery stands Onemorenomore for a $6,600 (inc gst) service fee.
