Managerial appointments at Swettenham Stud

Swettenham Stud is breeding more than just champion racehorses with two senior staff members stepping up the professional ladder to lead its dynamic team into the future.

Brian Gorman has been appointed to the position of General Manager having been an integral part of Swettenham Stud over the past three years.  He believes passionately in the Sangster philosophy and the future of Swettenham Stud.  Brian brings over 30 years of bloodstock experience to the team and his key responsibilities will be in Sales and Marketing and leading the bloodstock division which will include nomination sales.

Tim Jones has been promoted to Operations Manager.  Tim has been with the business since 2005 and is committed to the culture and learning from his predecessors.

“I feel very fortunate to have found two such trusted individuals within my own organization,” Swettenham owner Adam Sangster said.  “I believe in them both and know they understand me and share my vision for the future of Swettenham.”

Rachel Spriggens has been appointed to a supporting role to the General Manager.  Rachel has a life-time of experience in the thoroughbred industry.  Originally from New Zealand, Rachel has worked in both New Zealand and Kentucky and joins Swettenham at an incredibly exciting time.

Swettenham Stud looks forward to another successful season in 2016 with dual Group 1 winning Trust in a Gust joining the stallion roster.
