The catalogues for both the Magic Millions National Weanling and Broodmare Sales are now online.

Featuring an outstanding line up of lots, the National Weanling and Broodmare Sales will kick off a big two weeks of selling with about 2050 lots to go under the hammer.

The National Weanling Sale, with recent graduates including Group One winners Pierro, Anabandana and Willow Magic, will comprise 411 lots to sell over two days – May 27 and 28.

Star lots on pedigree this year include at least half relations to stars including Bel Mer, Grout, Rockabubble, Starspanglebanner, Whobegotyou, Lonhspresso, Rialya, Colour, Impressive Jeuney, Friday Creek, Danerich, Sugar Babe, Catkins, Members Joy and Unpretentious.

Group winning mares including Asylum Seeker, Danglissa, Shapira, Ballybleue, On Type, Trick of Light, Alpine Club, Bashful, Emlozza, Millrich, Native Song and Rosa’s Spur all have weanlings catalogued.

Sires represented include proven stars Fastnet Rock, Redoute’s Choice, Lonhro, Exceed and Excel, Commands, Encosta de Lago, More Than Ready and Snitzel and rising stars Sebring, Northern Meteor, Real Saga, New Approach and Casino Prince.

Plenty of interest will surround members of the first crop of sires including Beneteau, Captain Sonador, Denman, Dreamscape, Hinchinbrook, Lookin at Lucky, Monaco Consul and Rothesay.

The National Broodmare Sale with over 700 lots has attracted a star studded line up of mares from stakes winners off the track to proven Group One producers.

There are over 125 stakes performed mares catalogued including winners of the Queensland Oaks, Stradbroke Handicap, Coolmore Stud Stakes, Tattersall’s Tiara and Robert Sangster Stakes.

Also catalogued are hundreds of young city winning mares, served last spring by commercial sires including Fastnet Rock, Lonhro, Exceed and Excel, Redoute’s Choice, More Than Ready, High Chaparral, Encosta de Lago, Snitzel, Bel Esprit and Commands and many more.
