Lyndhurst Farm boost for NZ Ready to Run Sale

A More Than Ready half-sister to Miss Marielle will be one of the highlights of the New Zealand Bloodstock Ready to Run Sale on November 17.

The More Than Ready – Miss Vandal (Don’t Say Halo) filly has been catalogued as Lot 24 and will be offered by Mark Treweek’s Lyndhurst Farm.

Her older half-sister Miss Marielle (Encosta De Lago) has not missed a place in five starts for trainer Joe Pride this season with wins including the G2 STC Hill Stakes and last weekend’s G3 AJC Craven Plate where she defeated G1 winner Nom Du Jeu (Montjeu).

Now the winner of over $500,000, Miss Marielle heads to the paddock for a well-deserved rest while her two-year-old half-sister gears up for the Karaka Ready to Run Sale breeze-ups to be held at Te Rapa Racecourse in a fortnight.

More Than Ready has sired the last two Golden Slipper winners – Phelan Ready and Sebring – and Miss Vandal (Don’t Say Halo) was a G3 winner of the WATC Sires Produce Stakes.  The dam has left three winners from as many runners.
