Invincible Spirit’s southern stint at Irish National Stud

Former Chatswood Stud shuttler Invincible Spirit will cover mares to southern hemisphere time at the Irish National Stud this year.

After four seasons in Australia from 2003 to 2006, he has left 119 winners at a 66% strike-rate.  Multiple G1 winning filly Yosei tops the list followed by G2 sprinter I Am Invincible who is carrying on the sireline at Yarraman Park.

In his final season at Chatswood, Invincible Spirit stood at an $11,000 fee.  He will be available for 20,000 euros (AUD 23,525) to southern time in Ireland.

Invincible Spirit stands for a 60,000 euros fee to northern time.  The 15-year-old son of Green Desert was Europe’s Champion first-season sire in 2006 and he is going better than ever this term with 11 stakes winners including G1 July Cup winner Mayson and Moonlight Cloud.  The latter came close to denying Black Caviar in the G1 Diamond Jubilee Stakes.
