Inglis streamlines Australian Broodmare & Weanling Sale

Inglis has changed the date and format for its Australian Broodmare and Weanling Sale.  It will now be conducted in Sydney on May 4, 5, 6 & 7.

“Buyers and vendors indicated in our client survey and in the field discussions they wanted a break after the Easter Yearling Sale and a combined feature Broodmare and Weanling Sale,” Inglis director Jonathan D’Arcy said.  “That’s what we’re delivering.”

The new-look Broodmare and Weanling Sale will be held 24 days after the Easter Yearling Sale.

The sale will see the weanlings offered first with Select and General Sessions.  This will be followed by the broodmares in a Select and General Session format as well as a separate section for race fillies and mares off the track.  Entries close on Friday, March 7.

First-season sires of weanlings already entered include Sepoy, So You Think, Smart Missle and Foxwedge.  Broodmares in foal to Frankel, Pierro and All Too Hard are also committed to the new sale.
