The Inglis 2012 Easter yearling sale has received another headline entrant with news the More Than Ready – Tuesday Joy colt will go under the hammer at Newmarket next April.
He will join the brother to So You Think, the half-brother to Makybe Diva and the half-sister Black Caviar.
Vinery’s champion sire More Than Ready got him from 2008 NSW Horse of the Year Tuesday Joy. The bottom half of his pedigree is without doubt one of the finest in the Australian Stud Book with no less than 10 individual Group 1 winners under Tuesday Joy’s first two dams – Joie Denise and Denise’s Joy.
“The Denise’s Joy line is held in the highest regard and we are delighted to able to offer such a well-credentialed colt from this tightly held family,” Inglis bloodstock director Jonathan D’Arcy said.
“(John Singleton’s) Strawberry Hill Stud has bred and raised Group 1 winners like Sunday Joy, All American, Seventh Rock, Universal Queen, Tuesday Joy and More Joyous in recent years.”
The 2012 Inglis Easter yearling sale will be held at Newmarket in Sydney from Tuesday April 10 to Thursday April 12 next year.
