Emirates Park shuttler Artie Schiller (USA) has sired a Group 1 winning double with his star two year-olds My Conquestadory and Wee Miss Artie at Keeneland.
My Conquestadory won the G1 Alcibiades Stakes (1700m) on Friday and Wee Miss Artie the G1 Breeders’ Futurity Stakes (1700m) on Saturday.
Artie Schiller (USA) was a leading turf performer in North America with four Group 2 victories to his name culminating with a Group 1 victory over Leroidesanimaux in the 2005 Breeders’ Cup Mile.
The 12-year-old son of El Prado spent his first three seasons at Hurricane Hall in Kentucky and, after a two-year stint at Pauls Mill, has spent the last two seasons at WinStar Farm.
He began shuttling to Independent Stallions in 2007 and is now covers his southern books at Emirates Park Victoria for a $22,000 (inc gst) fee. The best of his Australian bred progeny to date has been G1 Rosehill Guineas winner Laser Hawk.
