The Tasmanian Magic Millions is Australia’s best source of Mr. Prospector’s influential son Gone West.

Grenville Stud based West Quest (Can) has been Tasmania’s champion sire five times and he has 20 yearlings catalogued for the Launceston sale this Thursday, February 13.  There are also 5 lots in the catalogue from West Quest mares by Incumbent (3) Savoire Vivre and Hard Spun.

Raced by the late Prince Fahd Salman, West Quest won at Catterick and Aqueduct before retiring to Graeme McCullough’s stud at Whitemore.

To date, the 23 year-old stallion has sired 11 stakes winners among 272 individual winners of 840 races.

Fellow Grenville Stud sire Incumbent (Choisir) won the G2 VRC Sires’ Produce Stakes and he has 7 lots for the Tasmanian Magic Millions.  Together, West Quest and Incumbent give McCullough the largest representation in the 96 lot catalogue.
