Globetrotter relocates to Highpoint Lodge

Street Cry stallion Globetrotter will serve his first book at Highpoint Lodge this year.

Owner Damian White initially imported Globetrotter (USA) to stand at Avenel after a Group 3 win at Woodbine.  He was also credited with a G1 Hollywood Park placing in the Charles Whittingham Memorial.

Highpoint Lodge is situated at Moyhu in Ned Kelly country near Glenrowan.  Studmaster Alex McDonald has known White for years and welcomed Globetrotter to the north-east last week.  “He’s a gentleman and has settled in perfectly,” McDonald said.  “We’ve got 600 acres and year-round agistment.  We also foal down and walk-in mares for our clients.”

Globetrotter’s oldest winners are three year-olds and he also sired recent VOBIS Gold Rush runner-up Bundy Red.  His service fee has been set at $5,500 (inc gst).

There are other incentives to be a part of his first book at Highpoint Lodge.  They include a $595 basic vet package and agistment costs of $1,100 for 70 days for wet and dry mares.  McDonald can be contacted on 0412 574 394.
