First winner by Bryannbo’s Gift

Divine Gift notched the first win for Shipton Lodge sire Bryannbo’s Gift at Wyong on Thursday.

It was an auspicious debut for the gelding in the Lake Macquarie Sheet Metal Maiden (1200m).  He is trained by Anne-Marie Ruttley on site at Shipton Lodge in Cobbitty and prevailed in a close finish from Drill (Street Cry) and Lasttono (More Than Ready).

Divine Gift (3g Bryannbo’s Gift – Our Lady Grace by Commands) is a younger half-brother to Lonhro winners Amarachi and Lonace.  They are from a half-sister to the dam of Magic Albert.

Our Lady Grace has a 2yo filly and a filly foal by Bryannbo’s Gift at Shipton Lodge.

Bryannbo’s Gift is a son of Zabeel from G1 Oakleigh Plate winner Dantelah (Volksraad).  Bred by Sir Patrick Hogan, he won twice in Sydney and was also stakes placed in the G3 Show County Quality at Randwick.

Bryannbo’s Gift’s service fee is available on application.  He initially stood for an $8,800 (inc gst) fee in 2010.
