Fifth winner for Trade Fair in Europe

Evergreen Lodge shuttler Trade Fair continued his sparkling start at stud when Qubool won at Cork on Sunday.  The Kevin Prendergast trained filly ran out an easy winner over 1200m.  Among the beaten brigade was Henrythenavigator’s brother Benvenuto who was a big disappointment.

Qubool (2f Trade Fair – Hidden Meaning by Cadeaux Genereux) became the fifth northern hemisphere winner for Trade Fair since Schoolboy Champ opened his account at Haydock Park on June 20.

Trade Fair (Zafonic) shuttles from Tweenhills Farm in England to Evergreen Lodge in Western Australia.  His first Westspeed yearlings were in demand at the 2009 Perth Magic Millions selling to $70,000.

Trade Fair was a G3 winner of the Criterion Stakes at Newmarket and the G3 Minstrel Stakes at the Curragh.  He was also G1 placed in the Dewhurst Stakes.

Trade Fair returns to Evergreen for a $6,500 fee this year.  He got the Cork winner from Hidden Meaning, a half-sister to LR Tipperary Stakes winner Senor Mirasol (Deportivo) and Qatar Derby winner Becher (Vettori).
