Federation of Bloodstock Agents Australia (FBAA) members played an influential role during Book 1 of the Gold Coast Magic Millions with a total spend over four days of $23.41 million.

The individual trade in each session were as follows; $8.07m (Wed), $6.71m (Thurs), $7.07 (Fri) and $1.56m (Sat).

Saturday evening’s shortened final session saw Blue Sky Bloodstock (FBAA) agent Julian Blaxland to the fore again with 5 buys totalling 1.38 million.

The top-priced $550,000 Exceed and Excel – Episode colt for Aquis Farm will remain in Queensland.  Episode was a dual Group 1 winner in Adelaide and she has foaled First Seal (G1 Flight Stakes ) and Book Of Kells (G2 Tulloch Stakes).

Sheamus Mills Bloodstock (FBAA) was also in action with a $180,000 bid for a Pierro colt for Malua Bloodstock.  The colt’s dam Espurante (Flying Spur) was a Randwick stakes winner and she has foaled Flemington stakes winner Jennifer Lynn.
