Fastnet Rock stands for Australia-high $275,000

Coolmore Stud has announced Fastnet Rock will stand for an Australian high $275,000 (inc gst) service fee in 2013.

“Fastnet Rock is a phenomenon,” Coolmore’s Tom Magnier said.  “He’s undoubtedly the best sire in Australia since Danehill with 13 individual stakes winners in Australia this season and a yearling average at the Inglis Easter Sale just shy of $600,000.”

Joining the roster this year is Group 1 winning miler Excelebration.  “He’s the best son of Exceed And Excel with a Timeform rating of 133,” Magnier added.  “He is the highest rated sprinter/miler ever from the Danehill line and looks exceptional value at a fee of $27,500.

“Excelebration is a very exciting prospect and we’ve been inundated with enquiries about him since we announced that he was coming.– while High Chaparral, Choisir and Encosta de Lago are also among the best proven sires in this part of the world.’
