Eliza Park, one of Australia’s leading thoroughbred stud operations, is to be offered for sale.

Eliza Park encompasses six properties in two states along with shares and standing rights in 14 stallions.  It will be sold by public tender through Inglis and expressions of interest will close on April 26.

The Eliza Park brand is well established and is recognised as one of the leading and most progressive thoroughbred nurseries in the country.  The stallion roster is regarded as one of the finest in the nation with 10 stallions standing in Victoria while there are facilities for 4 stallions at its Queensland base.

Black Caviar’s sire Bel Esprit heads the line-up at its Victorian headquarters.  He is also currently on top of the Australian winners’ premiership.  Eliza Park Queensland stands Australia’s 2010-11 Champion First Season Written Tycoon.

“As a third generation breeder, Eliza Park is the culmination of a life-long ambition,” Eliza Park’s principal Lee Fleming explained.  “I never imagined it would grow to what it is now.
