Dynamic start to spring carnival

Dynamic Syndications sprinter Atomic Force made a winning start to the spring carnival in the Listed Slickpix Stakes (1100m) at Caulfield on Saturday.

Atomic Force (6g Danehill Dancer – Show of Force by Luskin Star) was racing in Melbourne for the first time after resuming from a winter spell in the LR Starlight Stakes at Rosehill on August 13.

He won the G1 Galaxy at Randwick during a career-high autumn campaign and the Caulfield victory increased his earnings to $689,600.

Prepared at Broadmeadow by Darren Smith, Atomic Force tracked speed machine Avenue before switching off her heels in the straight.  “He has got a good turn of foot,” winning jockey Damien Oliver said.  “Avenue was really humming along and he went past her pretty quickly.”

Atomic Force was sold for $50,000 through the Raheen Stud draft at the 2007 Gold Coast Magic Millions.  “The horse has come back really well,” trainer Darren Smith said.  “He will go to the McEwen Stakes at Moonee Valley in three weeks.”

A son of Danehill Dancer, Atomic Force is one of five winners produced by the former top class Luskin Star filly Show of Force.  The dam was placed in a G1 AJC Sires’ Produce Stakes and G3 Sweet Embrace Stakes.

A Hidden Dragon half sister to Atomic Force is being prepared by Robyn Wise for the 2012 Gold Coast Magic Millions yearling sale.
