Driefontein chasing feature double at Magic Millions

Classy Sydney filly Driefontein will be chasing a unique Magic Millions double when she lines up in the Gold Coast Magic Millions 3YO Guineas (1400m) next month.

The Fastnet Rock filly is trained by Gai Waterhouse and she heads the order of entry for the $1 million event with earnings of $1.43 million.

Stewards awarded Driefontein the Magic Millions 2YO Classic on protest from her stablemate No Looking Back earlier this year.  Star Thoroughbreds manager Denise Martin purchased her for $75,000 at the 2011 Gold Coast Magic Millions.

Sizzling confirmed his place at second on the stable with a win in Saturday’s Gold Edition Plate – he’s now earned over $882,000.  The Snitzel colt was bred by John Muir at Milburn Creek and was a $260,000 purchase for agent John Foote at the 2011 Gold Coast Magic Millions.
