Courageous Clarify at Morphettville

Connections of Adelaide mare Clarify breathed a sigh of relief when they heard Go Dreaming was heading to the spelling paddock.

The daughter of Danehill Express had finished third behind Go Dreaming at her past two starts, including the $100,000 Port Adelaide Cup, before breaking through at Morphettville on Saturday.

Clarify is part-owned and trained at Oakbank by Barry Brook and she settled midfield before knuckling down in a slugging finish to the William Hill Hcp (2500m).  Her dam Visual Displays (Scenic) was a Listed winner at Flemington and Caulfield and is a half-sister to the dam of Neville Parnham’s stakes performer Dominating.

Visual Displays has a filly foal by Yarradale Stud sire Scandal Keeper and was bred back to him last year.

Clarify sent Danehill Express through the $2 million mark in earnings with her third win this season.  She had scored at Morphettville in March following a Gawler maiden victory in August.

Mungrup Stud will stand Danehill Express for a $4,400 (inc gst) service fee in 2015.
