Class prevails for Swettenham Breeding Venture

Swettenham Stud’s Breeding Venture No.1 received another profitable return when selling a Myboycharlie colt at the Adelaide Magic Millions.

Catalogued as Lot 112, the bay colt made $80,000 to the bid of Magic Millions acting as agent for a NSW client.  Myboycharlie is currently ranked fifth on the Australian first-season sires’ premiership and his colt is a daughter of Class Prevails (Delago Brom) who won at Sandown and was stakes placed at Moonee Valley.

Class Prevails foaled a first crop colt by Equiano in October and she is back in foal to Swettenham’s Group 1 winning sprinter at Nagambie.

Swettenham Stud’s Breeding Venture No.1 had received a massive endorsement at the Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale earlier this month when its New Approach colt realised $230,000.

Swettenham owner Adam Sangster has just launched the Stud’s Breeding and Racing Venture No. 2.  “The response has been very positive since the Melbourne Premier Sale,” Sangster said.  “It begins in April and runs through to June 2016.”

The Swettenham Stud Breeding and Racing Venture No. 2 provides small and large investors, as well as superannuation funds, with the opportunity to do it all on a budget.  Units in the SSBRV2 are available at $30,000, with no further payments required.
