Bold Inglis bonus winner at Bendigo

Connections of Bold Eavey collect a golden payday at Bendigo on Saturday in the $100,000 2YO Inglis Gold Plate (1100m).

Bold Eavey (2f Eavesdropper – Pocaterra by Wolf Power) was purchased by trainer Marcus Fahler for $6,500 at last year’s Inglis Melbourne Autumn yearling sale.  She earned $60,000 and Fahler also received a pair of Swarovski Binoculars.

Bold Eavey is the fourth Australian winner from the first southern crop of Emirates Park Stud sire Eavesdropper.  She improved off a debut placing at Cranbourne last month for a two length victory over Ilgattino (Keep The Faith) and Throw The King (Elvstroem).

Eavesdropper is a stakes winning son of Kingmambo and is a half-brother to champion sire A P Indy.

The $100,000 Inglis Gold Plate forms part of the $5 million Inglis Race Series.  Buyers will be presented with over 300 lots at next week’s new Inglis VOBIS Gold yearling sale at Oaklands, where all yearlings offered are eligible for nomination into the lucrative Inglis Race Series.
