Bobby’s Kitten shuttles to Twin Hills

Group 1 Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint winner Bobby’s Kitten (USA) will shuttle to Twin Hills Stud in NSW this year.

He will be the first son of Champion USA stallion Kitten’s Joy (El Prado) to stand in Australia when he arrives from Lanwades Stud in England.

A homebred for Ken and Sarah Ramsey, Bobby’s Kitten won the G3 Pilgrim Stakes by 6 lengths at two and the BC Turf Sprint at three.

He was sent to Europe to be trained by Dermott Weld to win last year’s LR Cork Sprint Stakes by 8 lengths before Lanwades Stud owner Kristen Rausing made a successful offer to the Ramseys.

Twin Hills studmaster Olly Tait said Bobby’s Kitten is an excellent prospect.  “He has all the attributes you look for in a stallion.  He was a Grade 1 winning sprinter, has an outstanding pedigree, and is a magnificent looking horse, with strength, scope, and quality.”

Bobby’s Kitten (Kitten’s Joy – Celestial Woods by Forestry) will stands for a $16,500 (inc gst) service fee.
