Blueblood on Deck at Ruakaka

One of Australasia’s great families will be on show at Ruakaka on Saturday when All Decked Out (NZ) makes his debut in the Cecconi 2YO Challenge.

All Decked Out (2c Darci Brahma – Diamond Deck by Octagonal) is a homebred for The Oaks Stud and is out of a three-quarter sister to Australian Horse of the Year Lonhro.

“As with any horse with a pedigree like his you would like to think he will keep developing and we’re quietly hopeful he will be a horse capable of running in the three-year-old stakes races,” trainer Jason Bridgman said.

He’s still a work in progress and this will be a starting point for him.  He doesn’t especially want wet tracks and we like to get our spring prospects going rather than trial again in the wet.  Whatever he does on Saturday will bring him on further.”

All Decked Out will be partnered by Matt Cameron, who has ridden him in all three of his trial appearances.  “He’s showed plenty at the trials, even though the last couple were unplaced runs,” Bridgman said.  “He was there to be educated and he hit the line well in his latest trial.

“Once the penny drops and he’s stepped up over further he will continue to go on with it.  He’s a big, strapping lad so there’s certainly nothing to stop him on physique.”

His dam Diamond Deck won the G3 Highview Stakes and was also placed in the G2 QTC Sires’ Produce Stakes and the Champagne Classic.
