Blue-blood half-brother wins at Marseille

Might And Power’s younger half-brother Blue Knight won his third race at Marseille on Thursday.  The Anabaa five year-old scored at Longchamp last year and added the Prix d’Aix en Provence (2125m) for owner Serge Tripier-Mondancin yesterday.

Blue Knight is one of 10 winners for Benediction (Day is Done ).  Apart from Might And Power (Zabeel), who was twice named Australia’s Horse of the Year after G1 wins in the Cox Plate and Caulfield & Melbourne Cups, she is also the dam of Matter Of Honour (Casual Lies), a G3 winner of the VRC Yallambee Stud Stakes.

Another of her NZ-bred daughters Miss Priority (Kaapstad) foaled Hong Kong G1 winner Lucky Owners (Danehill) who is now based at Widden Stud.

In France, her foals include Saint-Cloud LR winner Bastet (Giant’s Causeway), Chantilly winner Buenos Aires (Rainbow Quest) and the dam of Clairefontaine Listed winner Buenos Dias (Peintre Celebre).
