Balmont shines at Belmont Park

Lynward Park stallion Balmont shone at the Belmont Park trials on Monday with three winners.

Coursewecanwin took a 400m trial for two-year-olds by a length in 25.62s at his first public outing.  He’s from Arlecchina (Dauberval) and is a half-brother to the winners Incoherent and Lisetta.

Trained by Brent Albuino, Coursewecanwin was bred by Lynward Park owners Ted and Marilyn van Heemst.

Balmont Girl won a 1000m heat for two-year-olds by three-quarters of a length in 64.57s.  She’s from Pocket Aces (Brief Truce) and is from the family of Golden Slipper Stakes winner Guineas and successful Vinery sire Mossman.  Trained by Paula Wagg, Balmont Girl was bred by Michael Adams.

Guerin took a 1000m heat for three-year-olds by over a length in 61.06s.  She’s from Dare To Be Rich (Zedrich) and is from the family of the brilliant juvenile Send A Sign.  Trained by Simon Miller, Guerin was bred by Zoe Ellis.
