Authorized re-routed to Chile

Darley shuttler Authorized will be re-routed to Chile this year instead of returning to its Kelvinside base in NSW.

Authorized has shuttled from Dalham Hall to Australia for the last four years.  There have only been two of initial southern-hemisphere juveniles seen out this season.

The son of Montjeu will shuttle to Haras Cordilliera later this year.  He joins a roster that includes Bonus Fever (Seeking the Gold), Cat Scan (Storm Cat), Election Day (Sadler’s Wells), Namid (Indian Ridge), Nawel (Stagecraft) and Voodoo Swinge (Unbridled’s Song).

Authorized was a G1 winner of the 2007 English Derby, Juddmonte International and G2 Dante Stakes.  His first northern crop includes this year’s G3 winners Sugar Boy (Sandown Classic Trial) winner and Rehn’s Nest (Park Express Stakes).
