Arrowfield leads Inglis stakes winners in 2011-12

ARROWFIELD STUD has finished as the leading breeder of stakes winners sold at Inglis Sales this season.

Arrowfield, solely and in partnership with clients, bred 8 individual stakes winners of 10 black type races in Australia over the past twelve months from Inglis sales.

Group 1 winner Master Of Design, who will stand at Swettenham Stud in his debut season this year, heads the list ahead of Flying Snitzel, Hot Snitzel, Snitzerland, Bermaise, Colorado Claire, Rose Of Peace and Sabrage.

SWETTENHAM STUD had the honour of offering Black Caviar in its 2008 Inglis Melbourne Premier draft on behalf of breeder Rick Jamieson of Gilgai Farm.

Jamieson also bred exciting juvenile G2 winner All Too Hard from the same mare.  All Too Hard topped the 2011 Inglis Easter yearling sale when sold from the draft of Makybe.

MAKYBE owner Tony Santic also bred Inglis graduates Specter and Wales to win at stakes level in Australia.

New Zealand breeders and vendors who sold with Inglis had strong results on Australian tracks with Rich Hill, Esker Lodge, Little Avondale, Waikato and Trelawney Studs all recording stakes winners.

COOLMORE STUD graduates were also in vogue headlined by Group 1 winners Niwot and Invest.  Coolmore sire Fastnet Rock was the hot ticket item at this year’s Australian Easter and Melbourne Premier Yearling Sales, with 65 of the stallion’s youngsters snapped up by buyers from across the globe.

Other vendors with Inglis stakes winners include:
EMIRATES PARK – Big Time, Fat Al & Prevailing
