Anabandana catalogued for Inglis Easter Broodmare Sale

Champion NZ filly Anabandana has been catalogued for the Inglis Easter Broodmare Sale in April.  She will be offered by Broadwater Thoroughbreds.

Anabandana (3f Anabaa – Great Notice by Nureyev) originally sold for $26,000 at the 2009 Magic Millions National weanling sale.  She was part of the Reavill Farm draft and was purchased by Hamilton based owner Christopher Grace.

Anabandana was crowned NZ Champion 2YO in 2010-11 thanks to G1 victories in the ARC Diamond Stakes and Manawatu Sires’ Produce Stakes.

The Cambridge based filly has been just as effective this season with a G3 win in the Gold Trail Stakes at Hastings as well as a G1 second against the colts in the NZ 2000 Guineas.  She was last seen finishing a strong fifth behind Shopaholic in the G2 Angus Armanasco Stakes at Caulfield last Saturday.

“We are delighted to have Anabandana in the Easter Broodmare Sale,” Inglis director Jonathan D’Arcy said.  “We’ve had the honour of selling world class mares Allez Wonder, Samantha Miss and Sun Classique the last three years.”

Catalogues for this year’s Australian Easter Broodmare Sale will be released in the coming weeks.
