51 Fastnet Rocks at Inglis Easter Sale

The catalogue for the 2013 Inglis Easter yearling sale on April 9, 10 and 11 is now available online.

There are 569 lots in the Easter catalogue that will go under the hammer between the ATC Golden Slipper and Australian Derby weekends.

The Easter Sale features substantial representation by Australia’s leading sires headed by Fastnet Rock.  The Coolmore Stud sire is represented by 51 yearlings and they will follow his Easter Group 1 winning graduates Foxwedge, Wanted and Mosheen.

Coolmore associates High Chaparral (38) and Encosta de Lago (18) are also well represented while Arrowfield Stud sires Redoute’s Choice (35), Flying Spur (21), Snitzel (20), Starcraft (12) and Charge Forward (8) also have strong drafts.

Vinery Stud based sire More Than Ready has 31 yearlings set to be offered at Easter.  His Easter graduate Samaready took out the 2012 G1 Blue Diamond Stakes at Caulfield.

Darley sires Lonhro (24), Shamardal (15), Street Cry (15), Exceed And Excel (9), Bernardini (8) and Commands (8) will be out in force as will NZ champions Zabeel (12), O’Reilly (10) and Pins (7).

“Easter is an integral part of the Sydney Carnival and Inglis is certainly looking forward to April and the offering of another fantastic selection of yearlings, such as the half-brother to Black Caviar and All Too Hard,” Inglis managing director Mark Webster said.

The Redoute’s Choice – Helsinge colt has been catalogued as Lot 131.  Caulfield Guineas winner and recent Vinery Stud stallion acquisition All Too Hard topped the 2011 Easter Sale when selling for A$1,0250,000.
