Redoute’s Choice stands for $110,000 at Arrowfield

Arrowfield Stud has announced the 2014 service fees for its roster headed by champion sire Redoute’s Choice who will command a fee of $110,000 (inc gst).

Redoute’s Choice is challenging for his third Australian stallion premiership with 10 stakes winners this season headed by world champion sprinter Lankan Rupee.

Among the mares already booked to him is the dam of Arrowfield’s new stallion Dundeel.  NZ breeders Murray & Jo Andersen confirmed earlier this week their decision to send Stareel (Zabee) to Arrowfield flagship son of Danehill.

Dundeel (High Chaparral) will stand his first season at a fee of $27,500 (inc gst).  The champion conqueror of Atlantic Jewel crowned his career last Saturday with a dominant victory in the G1 Queen Elizabeth Stakes.

The arrival of Snitzel (Redoute’s Choice) as a major sire is marked by 11 stakes winners this season including brilliant Group 1 winners Shamus Award & Snitzerland.

His yearlings averaged more than $350,000 at the Inglis Easter Session 1 Sale and his 2014 fee has been set at $71,500 (inc gst).

Not A Single Doubt (Redoute’s Choice) continues to reward breeders with precocious and genuine progeny headed by this season’s G2 winners Gypsy Diamond and Villa Verde.  His fee is unchanged at $33,000 (inc gst).

Dubai World Cup hero Animal Kingdom (Leroidesanimaux) will stand his second season at $33,000 (inc gst).  His first foals due this coming spring from mares such as Miss Finland, Rockabubble, Danglissa, Pay My Bail, Hurried Choice, and the dams of Weekend Hussler, Mentality, Toydini, Time For War, Messene & Crack A Roadie.

The value of Charge Forward (Red Ransom) as a highly effective outcross for Danehill-line mares is confirmed by recent performers such as 2YO Group winner London Lolly.  His fee remains at $22,000 (inc gst).

Also standing at an unchanged fee of $22,000 (inc gst) is the brilliant 2YO Group winner Smart Missile (Fastnet Rock) who was fully subscribed in his first two seasons.  His first yearlings sell in 2015.

All American (Red Ransom) will again be available to breeders at a fee of $16,500 (inc gst).  All American’s first-crop 2YOs this season include Group 3 winner Bachman, stakes-placed Tender & impressive city winners Invisible & Lady Trickster.  His 2014 yearlings sold up to $360,000 at Inglis Easter Session 1 and $240,000 at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Sale.

Manhattan Rain (Encosta de Lago) is also off the mark with the winner Downtown Manhattan, stakes-placed Chengdu and his 2014 yearlings sold up to $275,000 at Inglis Easter Session 1, and $210,000 at Magic Millions Gold Coast.   Manhattan Rain’s fee this year is $16,500(inc gst).

The fee for proven Group 1 sire Starcraft (Soviet Star) has been set at $11,000 (inc gst).   His 10 Inglis Easter Session 1 yearlings sold for an average of $170,500, with a top price of $650,000 paid by David Redvers for Mill Park’s daughter of Dane Belltar.
