Burwood Stud sire Masked Assassin opened his winner account in Victoria last weekend and then doubled up in Queensland on Sunday.

Both winners were bargain-based graduates of the 2013 Gold Coast Magic Millions.

FORTHEFUNOFIT (3g Masked Assassin – Quiet Fun by Honours List) charged over the top of his rivals in a busy finish to the Darriwill Farm Maiden Plate (1200m) at Dunkeld on November 15.  Trainer Mark Riley bought her for $7,000 on the Gold Coast.

RICHIE ROCKET (3g Masked Assassin – Lexie Lucy by Dexter) also left it late to make it two winners in a week in the CUB Maiden (1300m) at Mackay.  He was a $4,000 buy for local trainer John Manzelmann.

Masked Assassin (Danzero) won four races including the G2 QTC Sires’ Produce Stakes, G3 Victoria Hcp and LR Gibson Carmichael Stakes.  He stands south-west of Toowoomba at Burwood Stud for a $2,200 (inc gst) fee.
