Dalghar winner in France

Dalghar (Fr) sired his latest European first-crop winner on Thursday when Infinite Light landed the Prix Shaindy (1500m) in Marseille.

Western Australian breeder Neven Botica stood the Group 1 sprinter in France for a season before relocating him to Brighthill Farm in New Zealand.

Infinite Light (2f Dalghar – Kshanti by Diesis) powered clear in the final stages putting more than two lengths on She’s My Love (Soldier Of Fortune), Sing Something (Paco Boy) and Mashka (Exceed And Excel).

The Christophe Ferland trained filly had been placed on debut over 1700m at Pornichet on November 5.  She is raced by Rex Gorell after making 16,000 euros at the 2013 Arqana December Foal Sale.

Her dam Kshanti is a half-sister to Deauville winner and stakes performer Aventure Love (Orpen).

Dalghar has several two year-olds in training in Perth and his NZ based filly Dallas (ex Landon by Shannon) has been nominated to make her debut at Avondale on Wednesday, December 2.  The Stephen McKee trained youngster was a $22,500 buy from Brighthill’s Karaka draft and she won a Ruakaka trial on October 6.
