All American mare Jill’s Charm finished November with a flourish for her sire at the Sunshine Coast on Wednesday.

Trained locally by Gary Duncan, she firmed into a $2.30 favourite and justified that support with a straightforward victory in the Pelican Motors Hcp (1300m).  It was her third win this season and there’s more in store according to jockey Jeff Lloyd.

“That was easy.  The speed was on and we had a perfect run behind the leader,” Lloyd said after piloting the fourth of his 7 winners at Corbould Park.  “She should get out to a mile on that performance.”

Jill’s Charm (4m All American – Illusionist by Favorite Trick) is a younger sister to Sandown Hillside winner Lady Trickster and their dam’s latest All American is a 2yo named Sam’s Image with Victorian trainer Peter Morgan.

“She’s a lovely, big mare and took time to mature,” Duncan explained.  “She’s better chasing and doesn’t find the line if left in front.  I will step her up to 1400m next time and hopefully the good run will continue.”

Sunshine Coast was also the scene of a first-up victory for All American 3yo Ranen last Sunday.  Trainer Darryl Hansen will consider backing him up against unbeaten colt Winning Rupert in a $100,000 QTIS Plate at Eagle Farm this Saturday.

All American’s 3yo division also includes November winners American Rush and Roses Of Joy.  He has sired 6 individual winners in that category so far this season headed by Group 1 star Yankee Rose.

Lindsay Park filly American Rush won a Seymour maiden first-up on November 19 for a syndicate that includes Darren Thomas, Mark Pilkington and the Heffernan family.  She has been nominated for Geelong (Sunday) and Wangaratta (Tuesday).

Hoss and Gillian Heinrich produced All American 3yo filly Roses Of Joy to win at the Gold Coast on the same day.  She will also back-up this weekend at the Sunshine Coast.

All American’s latest 2yo crop is up and running with Flemington stakes performer American Genius the first to appear this season.  He followed up with another placing in the Magic Millions Clockwise Classic at Ballarat last week.

And Anthony Freedman has promising All American 2yo Membership in work at his new stables in Sydney.  She cost $105,000 at this year’s Inglis Classic Sale and was a very impressive trial winner at Randwick on Tuesday.

Membership is bred to go early – her dam Lodare Falls (Redoute’s Choice) won a Ballarat juvenile and followed up with a running double at Moonee Valley.  Second-dam Lodare Magic (NZ) won a G2 Breeders Stakes at Matamata.
